The Riverbend Chalets were built in 1989. These six sleeper self- catering units are attractively decorated, and are serviced from Monday to Saturday. Sunday services can be arranged at a nominal fee. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchenette, radio, limited DSTV, individual braai facilities and a fire place for those chilly winter evenings when the snow dusts the “Dragons Back”.

The spectacular views are best seen from the top of Beacon Hill. A nine hour climb to and from the Rhino Horn is definitely not for the faint-hearted, but well worth the experience!
