Terms and Conditions
Hotel standard Check-In / Check-out time - 1200 hrs or 1700 hrs. However it may vary from destination to destination.

Prices are dynamic and subject to change unless the booking is put on hold-On time limit basis or vouchered. Rates include only those items specified in your itinerary.
Insurance is not covered in the package so please cover yourself with an insurance at your own cost before travelling on a package tour

Waiting time at Airport for transfers booked by us:
Maximum waiting time at the airport shall be 60 - 90 minutes from the touchdown of the flight.

Package rates are valid for the selected travel dates only and for the room category and other services, specified.
The guests are requested to follow the rules and regulations of the resort / hotel where they are accommodated
Request guests to be punctual for all tours and transfers. Maximum waiting time shall be 05 minutes for SIC and 10 minutes for Private

Although request will be made for you, we cannot guarantee Inter connecting rooms/Adjacent rooms/Rooms on same floor /rooms next to each other, Smoking /Non-smoking rooms / and are strictly subject to availability at hotels and resorts,

For any amendment requests while on tour, please contact us or our local emergency numbers and the request shall be subject to availability, with/without any supplement charge.

Shorter-stays than the booked stay and early check-out will be regarded as cancellation and hence no refund will be provided for any un-utilized service/s.

No amendments (name changes , date changes, hotel change etc) will be done once the booking is Vouchered.  Any changes possible will be done offline, subject to any cancellation / rebooking / additional charges (as applicable).

We do not hold any responsibility for additional cost or adjustment which may arise as a result of events beyond our control, such as technical problems with means of transportation, changes imposed by re-scheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline/train, political disturbances, natural disasters, bad weather or terrorist activity etc. Also, any subsequent increase in the cost, which may arise from the increase of fuel price, govt taxes or accommodation charges shall have to be charged additionally.

We shall have no legal liability for any loss, damage, personal injury arising directly or indirectly from any aspect of your Holiday.

Journey undertaken by air, land or sea is governed by the terms and conditions of the service provider.

The guest booking our services is expected to provide a valid identity authenticating the person and you shall not make a reservation in a fictitious name.
Showing around all the places mentioned in our packages depend upon the availability of time and climatic conditions.
Rates are Net and non-commissionable, unless any separate confirmation has been given in writing by any of our authorized staff or account manager
It is the responsibility of the guest to carry all necessary travel documents such as accommodation voucher / confirmation, passport, other valid identity proof, flight/air tickets, itinarary summary etc.
In the unfortunate event of vehicle breakdown, we will provide you alternate vehicle. However, the time loss due to event will not be compensated.
At Religious place like Mosque please wear decent clothing covering all your body & At the time of visiting any Theme park please wear comfortable clothing etc
Rates quoted are based on currency displayed and for specified no. of persons
Rates are subject to change without prior notice, unless the booking is put on hold on time limit basis or “Vouchered”
In case of any immigration/Visa complications, the cancellation policy shall be applicable in full
Please note that pick-up for all transfer and tours will be done as per the details in the Tour Briefing Sheet. This document is shared closer to the date of travel and all guests must carry the Tour Briefing Sheet during their travel.
For any Tours and Transfers,Passport Number from each guest is required.

Payments
* Atm deposits are an additional 0.70%.
* Cash deposits will be an additional 1.51% of deposit value.

Important Terms
Nb! We work on a 1st come 1st basis!
Delay in payment could result in booking being lost and you will be refunded.
Bookings will not be guaranteed until full payment has been received.
We are not responsible for type of accommodation offered-  please google resort info and pictures before booking.
Problems encountered at the resort of any nature are beyond our control and should be taken up directly with management as we will not be liable. This includes cleanliness issues/pest control, comfort, water restrictions/electrical powercuts, maintenance, noise levels, electrical appliances not working(Eg: aircon, kettle, hair dryer, plug points), renovations or any other GRIEVANCES arising whatsoever!
In rare unforeseen circumstances In the event of a double booking, the same quality and size of accommodation will be offered.
All extras are for the clients account- example parking, meals etc.. which vary at different resorts.
Resorts reserve the right to change units without prior consent.
Please check unit sizes and max number of occupancy before booking and kindly adhere to resort rules by not exceeding recommended number of adults/kids stated.
Once accommodation is booked we regret no refunds will be allowed.
Bookings cannot be held- once confirmed payment is required to secure.
Our word is our honour and we expect the same from you -please make payment as soon as you commit as we cannot keep owners waiting.
Resort rules apply at all times and we cannot intervene.
Should you change your mind or book elsewhere kindly inform us asap.
Once your name and id number is sent, please allow 3-4 working days for your confirmation letter- delay is due to admin offices at resorts and not on our side

Airlines change flight times due to technical issues and other reason, this is beyoud our control and there might me flight time changes.

Terms and conditions
Travel and medical insurance must be taken out in the Country of origination.
Travel insurance and medical insurance.

The Client shall ensure that they, Client takes out their own insurance in respect of themselves and their property.   Awake travel and tours PTY LTD shall not be liable if any guest, any employee or touring party of the Client should fail to take adequate insurance cover. The client should make sure that they have adequate medical insurance to cover covid while travelling abroad.
Hotels

1.1. The Client, employees, guests and visitors of the Client enter the Hotels and premises and make use of the facilities on these premises at their own risk.
1.2. The Client, guests and visitors of the Client indemnifies and hold Awake Travel and Tours and hotel, the company, its owners, directors, and agents harmless against any claim including legal costs whatsoever and howsoever arising and hereby agrees on behalf of itself, its employees and guests or visitors that it is a condition of its/their occupation of the Hotel and premises that neither Awake Travel and Tours, the agent and hotels, its owners, directors, landlords, employees nor agents shall be responsible for :
1.2.1. any loss or damage to any property or possessions of any employee, guest and visitors of the Client, whether such damage was caused by fire, theft or any cause and by whosoever caused or arising from the negligence or wrongful act, or omission of Awake travel and tours, owner, its agent and/or employees including legal costs on an attorney and own client scale; and
1.2.2. death of or any personal injuries of whatsoever nature sustained by any employee,  guest and visitor of the Client, whether such injuries were sustained by the negligence (gross or otherwise) or wrongful act or omission of Awake travel and tours and hotels, the owner, its agents and/or its employees, and/or defective functioning of any apparatus.
1.3. The Client agrees to inform its , guests or party travelling with of the terms and conditions as set out on 1.1 and 1.2 above.
1.4. The Client shall bear the risk and accept responsibility for all and any property of whatever nature brought onto or left on the property or any portion thereof, by the Client, any guest, any employee or visitor of the Client or any other person on the premises, and/ or making use of the venue and/ or accommodation facilities on the property.
1.5. Groups - Group deposit procedures

1.5.1. The Client shall pay to the relevant Awake travel and tours a deposit equal to 50% of the contracted value of the reservation, within 7 (Seven) days of making the Reservation.
1.5.2. The balance of the contracted value 50% shall be paid by the Client to the relevant Awake travel and tour not less than 32 days prior to the date of departure together with the final room requirements and travel requirements according to the itinerary.
1.5.3. Reservations made within 32 days of arrival, full prepayment due immediately.

1.6. Group rooming lists, 
1.6.1. Should be sent to the tour operator.
1.6.2. A complete rooming list must be provided upon acceptance of the quote.
1.6.3. The rooming list must clearly indicate the room type Awake travel and tours is to allocate each guest, to avoid unnecessary complaints from guests to the Client and Awake travel and tours.
1.6.4. The Client is required to stipulate the country of origin, of the group, on the rooming list.
1.6.5. Should the above terms and conditions not be met, there will be an automatic release of the reserved rooms.
1.6.6. Names and identity document copies or passports must be provided at the time of booking.

1.7. Group cancellations or reduction of rooms
1.7.1. The Client will be refunded the monies, already deposited into the relevant Awake travel and tours account should group cancellations occur between date of reservation and 100 days prior to arrival date.

Total number of travelers not to be changed

The stipulated price is for the entire number of travelers arriving, should the number of travelers be short numbered the price for each traveler will increase but the total amount for all the travelers will be calculated according to the number of travelers arriving.  The total number of travelers must be confirmed and at the time of making the payment. 
No cancellation or changes of the price will be accepted 91 days prior to arrival.
Passports and visas.
Passports must be valid for six months after the departure date, all minors or children under 18 years of age must have consent from both parents to travel. We do not provide visas but you will be assisted in obtaining visas
Passports must have at least 6 pages empty
Inoculations
Please check with the embassy for the required inoculations for your travel.
Travel restrictions due to covid have been placed in various Countries. Please check with the country embassy that you are travelling to. Most airports require a negative COVID-19 PCR test result for unvaccinated travelers, which must be taken a maximum of 72 to 48 hours before flight in that country.

Unfortunately we do not make any last minute reservations for International Travel.  Please book well in advance.

Most airports require a negative COVID-19 PCR test result, which must be taken a maximum of 72 to 48 hours before flight in that country.  Only clients that are fully vaccinated will be allowed to travel or transit via some airports and return to South Africa, i.e, pcr test must be conducted at least 72 to 48 hours before return flight to South Africa and transit via Doha. All Pcr test is for the clients account.
